I am Fred Ryan’s great grand nephew. I happened to come across your article on the ICA, we didn’t know he was in the ICA nor he was close to James Connolly. We have his Mass card and 1916 original medal in our possession. But little else of information, my grandfather was 7 years old when Fredrick died and we believe it affected him greatly as they grew up in the same house together on high street. Any information would be fantastic.
